The Bullet Trap is an indoor rifle/pistol shooting range located in Macon, Illinois. We offer Illinois Concealed Carry classes, Recreational Shooting Activities, and training. We have a full retail store offering gun sales of new, used, and consignment guns. We also offer a full line of shooting accessories, targets, and ammo.

🔥 BIG WIN for the 2nd Amendment! 🇺🇸
President Trump’s DOJ just dropped a bombshell: The century-old federal ban on mailing handguns (and other concealable firearms) through the USPS is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and can’t be enforced anymore!
A 15-page opinion from the Office of Legal Counsel makes it clear—this 1927 law violates our right to keep and bear arms. It makes it harder to travel with guns for self-defense, hunting, or target shooting, and blocks law-abiding citizens from shipping protected firearms.
Key quote: “We conclude that the restriction imposed by section 1715 violates the Second Amendment… We are aware of no historical analogues that would satisfy the government’s burden…”
Ammunition and gunpowder still can’t be mailed (safety reasons), but this is a huge step toward dismantling outdated gun restrictions!
